The Grizzly College of Education, established in February 2009, is a non-profit, unaided, self-financing institution operating under the aegis of the Grizzly Charitable Trust. Since its inception, the College has remained committed to academic excellence and professional integrity in the field of teacher education.
The institution is recognized by the ERC National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhubaneswar Government of India, and is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribag as well as the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi. Over the years, the College has achieved significant academic milestones, beginning with NAAC ‘B’ Grade accreditation, followed by the conferment of UGC 2(f) status, and subsequently being granted the status of an Autonomous Institution in 2025. These achievements reflect the College’s sustained quality standards, academic credibility, and institutional maturity.
